Hi, I'm Angela
Ever since I was little, I have always had a creative eye and a passion for home improvement. My parents love to tell the story of how at just two years old I was able to take an unattended paint tray and a sprawling dining room floor and transform it into a bold work of art. Well, maybe that isn’t quite how they tell it…but it was my first brush *all pun intended* with design.
Since then, I have grown my expertise through hands on experience including my early involvement in renovation projects with my parents where I developed digital layouts of each property, the undertaking of two top-to-bottom home renovations of my own, and countless staging, styling, and design projects for our clients.
Bold patterns, rich fabrics, and interesting textures always get my heart beating just a little bit faster. I love mixing old and new to completely transform a space with both beauty and function in mind. I eat, sleep, and breathe design. From refurbishing road-side finds, to painting a canvas to hang in the living room, I can always be found elbows deep in one project or another.
I share my life with my husband James, who, though teacher by trade, has been thrown into the construction and renovation world, my larger than life 4-year-old son Cedric, and my firecracker 2-year-old daughter Darcy.
I am a film enthusiast, a lover of good food, an explorer, and an entertainer.
I believe that a well designed home leads to a well designed life and I can’t wait to share my passion with you.
Meet Jean
Most of my life has revolved around creativity. I have many varied interests that stem from childhood working with my own mother on projects including home design, sewing, making drapes and pillows, quilting, crocheting, gardening, etc. While admittedly, I didn’t always know what I was getting myself into, I always ended up loving the finished products that could be used to add beauty to one of my many homes.
Throughout the past 20 years, I have been very involved in the design and decor of many properties as I worked alongside my husband Ken to buy and renovate houses, fixing them from top to bottom with the design and intention of a forever home. I have enjoyed working with colour and design in creating a warm and comfortable home for my family. I love keeping up with new colour trends from each year, and you can often find aspects of this in my personal, as well as in my interior design style.
I am a mother of two, a grandmother of five, and I have a passion for hospitality. I pay close attention to the details and I bring a touch of glamour to each project that I am involved with. I am so excited to work with you and to continue to do what comes naturally to me.
