Rumour on the street is that the One Room Challenge is officially complete and we are revealing all of the things but I have to confess, I did NOT get the memo.
I feel like one of those people who don’t know how old they are turning on their birthday… “the cake says 50, but I am really starting my 51st year” (insert eye roll here). I was under the impression that this was the start of week 8 and that the reveal would be at the end and so I must admit that I am not ready to show you the final product.
In all honesty, if my light doesn’t come in in the next few days, I may not be ready by next week either!
BUT, since we need something to keep us motivated until the bitter end, I would like to take a moment to look back at where we began.
When I moved in, I immediately knew that the desk needed to face the windows. There are horses grazing across the street and I can literally sit and watch tiny little airplanes take off while I am designing for clients – did I tell you I am living in a fairytale?!
So much has changed since this image (and absolutely no other before photos) was taken and I can’t wait to show you the results, but my friends, you will just have to wait.
